Luckily, there are a number of powerful and dynamic ADHD-friendly apps to tackle this obstacle. Not to mention, many of these tools are not created with neurodiversity in mind. The challenge to stay on task, exceed our own expectations, and boost productivity gets even more complicated when we not only have to balance our responsibilities but rely on multiple apps to get the job done. And honestly, a simple task list to keep us on track just doesn’t cut it sometimes. Our work, personal lives, finances, feelings, and choices have a lot riding on their success. The pressure of our commitments takes on a whole new meaning now that we are juggling more than a spelling test, soccer practice, and clarinet lessons after school each week. Regardless of whether you’ve managed it since childhood or not, ADHD in adulthood can create some serious hurdles when faced with even simple tasks. We’ve been there-TBH, some of us have been there for years. And by now, haven’t we all doom-scrolled our way onto a video highlighting symptoms of ADHD and thought: hey, that sounds pretty familiar?
